Full demo walkthrough
Show the complete loop: customer sets up recurring payments on a merchant site via Sparelane, both sides see the connection, then the merchant runs working and failing charges. No separate API service required — this is all in-app simulation.
Start as Sarah (consumer)
Sign in with the consumer demo account, then return here to prepare FitLife and open the storefront.
1. Prepare FitLife setup
Disconnect Sarah from FitLife so the merchant storefront can show a fresh authorisation.
2. Join on the merchant site
Open the FitLife mock storefront and click “Set up with Sparelane”.
3. Authorise in Sparelane
As Sarah, pick a card and approve sharing it with FitLife for recurring membership.
4. Confirm in the consumer app
FitLife appears under Merchants with an active arrangement.
5. Run payments as FitLife
Sign in as Daniel (merchant). Simulate a successful charge, then a decline, then retry or rely on Send Money backup.
6. Optional: card update story
Use Admin → Demo control for the compromised-card → replacement → merchant update narrative.
Tip: after authorising as Sarah, sign out and use View as Merchant to charge. Use Automatic outcomes to exercise card failure → Send Money backup, or force success/decline for a scripted pitch. Full presenter scripts (happy path, backup, hard failure, reset) live in DEMO_GUIDE.md in the repo.
